Medical Writer

About the role

Tag is seeking a Medical Writer to create high‑quality, scientifically accurate content that supports integrated medical communications for pharmaceutical clients. Reporting to the Senior Account Director, you will translate complex clinical data into clear, compliant messaging across a variety of channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop medical and scientific content for slide decks, marketing materials, digital assets, and other deliverables.
• Ensure all materials are evidence‑based, accurate, and meet regulatory and editorial standards.
• Translate complex clinical and scientific data into concise, audience‑appropriate messaging.
• Build and maintain expertise in assigned therapeutic areas and client brand portfolios.
• Partner with client marketing teams to create content that drives HCP engagement and aligns with brand strategy.
• Produce omnichannel assets such as brand portals, email journeys, digital assets, and event content tailored to different HCP segments.
• Collaborate with internal strategy, account, and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging across touchpoints.
• Participate in client meetings, including kick‑offs, status updates, and strategic discussions.
• Deliver projects on time while maintaining high‑quality standards.
• Contribute to business development proposals and asset ideas.

Required profile

• Strong scientific background with the ability to understand and interpret clinical data.
• Deep knowledge of therapeutic areas, disease landscapes, and pharmaceutical brand portfolios.
• Excellent written communication skills, capable of crafting clear, compliant medical narratives.
• Experience working with healthcare professional (HCP) personas and translating insights into customer‑centric content.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
