About the role

The Treasury Vault Accounting Specialist will be responsible for managing the accounting and audit processes of the precious‑metals vault at ICBC (Asia). The role ensures that vault records are accurate, supports data analysis, and assists with front‑ and back‑office reconciliations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enforce precious‑metals vault management policies and procedures, conduct accounting processing and audits to ensure records match physical holdings.
• Monitor and analyse vault inventory data, and assist in front‑ and back‑office account reconciliations.
• Perform vault‑room duties as directed by the Vault Executive, including opening/closing vault doors, handling physical precious‑metal counts, safeguarding vault keys or passwords, and verifying metal inventories.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience operating a precious‑metals vault.
• Familiarity with local inter‑bank precious‑metals vault operations, physical asset management, system usage, and accounting processes.
• High risk awareness and strong sense of responsibility.
• Excellent cross‑cultural adaptability, learning ability, and teamwork skills.
