Operations Coordinator, Aerospace

About the role

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing air‑freight shipments from start to finish, ensuring secure, timely, and efficient movement of freight while maintaining strict compliance with Hong Kong aviation, customs, and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage air‑freight shipments end‑to‑end to meet customer deadlines.
• Liaise with customers, carriers, suppliers, warehouse teams and overseas offices to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor shipment progress, identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
• Enter accurate data and manage jobs in CargoWise or company systems.
• Provide operational support during shift or out‑of‑hours duties for time‑critical shipments.
• Act as daily point of contact for customers, delivering timely updates and resolving inquiries.
• Record supplier costs and customer tariffs, raise invoices promptly upon proof of delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Hong Kong Customs, aviation security, IATA Dangerous Goods and CAD regulations.

Required profile

• College degree or higher.
• Proven experience in logistics, freight forwarding or air‑freight operations.
• Fluency in Cantonese and English for communication with drivers, suppliers and overseas offices.
• Strong customer‑service and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with freight‑management systems (CargoWise advantage).
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
