Operations Manager – Café & Hospitality

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead the daily activities of our flagship café in Hong Kong. The role is full‑time, on‑site and focuses on delivering an exceptional guest experience while maintaining efficient service and high operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day café operations, ensuring quality, hospitality and brand consistency.
• Plan and manage staff schedules, conduct training, and monitor performance.
• Maintain health, safety and food‑quality standards in compliance with local regulations.
• Control inventory, coordinate with suppliers and support cost‑control and budgeting processes.
• Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify improvements and implement process enhancements.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on marketing initiatives and future expansion plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience in café, restaurant or hospitality operations management, including floor supervision.
• Strong ability to train staff, manage performance and foster an inclusive work environment.
• Competence in inventory control, supplier coordination and basic budgeting.
• Excellent customer service, communication and conflict‑resolution skills in a fast‑paced setting.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Competent use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with operational reporting tools.
