Operations Manager – Cold Chain Logistics

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our cold‑chain warehousing and distribution network for food and beverage customers. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, service quality, and customer satisfaction across a large‑scale logistics platform.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehousing, transportation and distribution activities, guaranteeing efficiency and service excellence.
• Manage end‑to‑end cold‑chain and temperature‑controlled logistics, ensuring compliance with food‑safety standards.
• Serve as primary contact for customers, vendors and internal stakeholders, fostering strong relationships.
• Lead, coach and develop warehouse, transportation and operations teams to meet productivity and performance targets.
• Monitor operational KPIs, prepare management reports and recommend continuous‑improvement actions.
• Drive process‑optimization initiatives to enhance workflow, resource utilization, inventory accuracy and cost efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to food‑safety regulations, company policies and workplace‑safety standards.
• Proactively manage escalations, service issues and operational challenges to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Support business‑growth projects, new‑customer implementations and operational transitions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years logistics/warehouse/supply‑chain experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in food & beverage, FMCG, cold‑chain or temperature‑controlled logistics.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, transportation and distribution processes.
• Experience managing customer relationships and service‑level agreements.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret operational data and drive performance improvements.
• Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Warehouse Management System (WMS) proficiency.
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft PowerPoint.
