Part-Time IGCSE Economics & Business Management Teacher

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Part‑Time teacher to deliver IGCSE Business Management and/or Economics to our international school community starting 1 September. The successful candidate will join a collaborative faculty and help shape a dynamic learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging IGCSE Business Management and Economics lessons across relevant year groups.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support students of varying abilities and learning styles.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback and contribute to pastoral care.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources and share best practices.
• Stay informed about international developments in Business and Economics education.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Economics or a related field.
• PGDE, PGCE or B.Ed. qualification.
• Registered with the Hong Kong Education Bureau.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Commitment to professional development and extracurricular enrichment.

Required skills

• Strong subject knowledge of IGCSE Business Management and Economics curricula.
• Effective classroom management and lesson‑planning abilities.
