Partner Development Manager – Hong Kong

About the role

The Partner Development Manager will lead the growth of Alibaba Cloud’s partner ecosystem in Hong Kong. You will build trusted relationships with partner executives, understand their business needs, and co‑create joint business plans that drive cloud adoption and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute partner business development plans, aligning workforce planning with Alibaba Cloud strategy.
• Identify, recruit and onboard high‑growth ecosystem partners to expand product sales and technical solution capabilities.
• Coordinate internal resources to support partner growth, establishing long‑term communication and cooperation mechanisms.
• Drive special sales campaigns, incentive programs and joint market expansion to achieve business objectives.
• Manage partner health by ensuring compliance, monitoring business metrics, and resolving conflicts.
• Collaborate with key partners to build industry benchmark cases and joint solutions, enhancing market leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in partner ecosystem development and business development within the cloud or technology sector.
• Strong network with local AAG core ecosystem partners and ability to attract competitors’ ecosystem partners.
• Demonstrated ability to manage tiered partner relationships and foster healthy competition.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior executives.
