Part‑Time Lecturer – Growing the Enterprise

About the role

Kaplan Hong Kong is seeking a part‑time lecturer to teach undergraduate business students the Growing Enterprise module. The role involves delivering lectures, developing learning materials and supporting student progress.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate courses on SME growth, innovation, e‑business, resource management and growth strategies.
• Develop and review teaching and learning materials and coordinate with overseas university staff when required.
• Collaborate with the program management team to ensure smooth module delivery.
• Monitor student progress, respond to queries and contribute to improving teaching quality.
• Assess and mark coursework, assignments and other assessment components in line with academic standards.
• Participate in periodic meetings with university staff to discuss student performance and module delivery.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or higher) in a related discipline; PhD/DBA or candidacy preferred.
• Minimum two years of solid teaching experience in relevant subjects.
• Relevant professional experience is an advantage.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Experience teaching classes with mixed ability levels.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Willingness to work flexible hours on an independent‑contractor basis.
