About the role
The Patient Safety Partner (Lead) is responsible for implementing, maintaining and overseeing the local pharmacovigilance (PV) system for the assigned affiliate(s). This role sets the strategic direction for patient safety, risk management and ensures alignment with global priorities and local business needs.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate APS strategy and planning to prioritize impact.
- Collaborate with Country Cluster Lead, Safety Net, Affiliate PV Net, Patient Safety Operations and affiliate leadership to shape organisational strategies.
- Act as the single point of contact for safety‑related matters internally and with local regulatory authorities.
- Design, implement and maintain local PV processes, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance with evolving global and local requirements.
- Escalate and address compliance gaps promptly.
- Maintain operational excellence of safety‑related activities, including case processing, signal detection, aggregate safety reporting and pharmacovigilance agreements.
Required profile
- Proven experience in pharmacovigilance or patient safety within the pharmaceutical or medical device sector.
- Strong knowledge of local regulatory requirements and ability to act as a qualified point of contact.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive strategic initiatives.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
