Physical Education Teacher – Expressions of Interest (Secondary)

About the role

We are seeking highly skilled Physical Education teachers to join our secondary schools for the 2026/2027 academic year. The role involves delivering engaging PE lessons, motivating students, and contributing to the school’s sporting life.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Physical Education curriculum across MYP, IGCSE, IBDP or IBCP programmes.
• Motivate and inspire students through creative and innovative teaching methods.
• Participate in extra‑curricular sports activities and coach school teams.
• Provide pastoral support, including tutoring a student group if required.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the PE programme.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a subject area with a postgraduate teaching qualification (PGCE/PGDE).
• Qualified teacher registration with the Hong Kong Education Bureau (iPGCE assessment‑only does not qualify).
• Newly qualified teachers or teachers with experience in a recognised educational institution.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Ability to teach Physical Education in both classroom and practical settings.
• Familiarity with international curricula such as MYP, IGCSE, IBDP or IBCP (advantageous).
• Strong organisational and motivational skills.
