Primary School Learning Support Teacher – ESF (2026/27)

About the role

The English Schools Foundation is seeking Primary School Learning Support Teachers for the 2026/2027 academic year. You will provide specialised instruction and individualized support to primary‑level students with diverse learning needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assess students to identify learning needs and strengths.
• Develop and implement personalised education plans.
• Deliver targeted small‑group and one‑to‑one instruction.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor progress and adjust strategies to support student growth both in and out of the classroom.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a subject‑related degree with a postgraduate qualification.
• Certificate/Diploma in Education (e.g., PGCE, PGDE).
• Understanding of the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and curriculum frameworks is advantageous.
• Newly qualified teachers or those with teaching experience in a recognised educational institution.
• Eligibility for Teacher Registration with the Hong Kong Education Bureau (iPGCE assessment‑only does not qualify).
