Principal Architect – Hong Kong

About the role

We are partnering with a globally recognised architecture studio to appoint a Principal Architect for their Hong Kong office. The role is focused on winning new work across Southeast Asia and shaping the studio’s design direction. You will act as a senior design voice, mentor teams and elevate overall design quality while building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and win new projects through client‑facing pitches and relationship development.
• Develop and communicate clear design narratives that align with client objectives.
• Guide project teams from concept through delivery, ensuring high design standards.
• Mentor and develop junior architects, fostering a collaborative studio culture.
• Contribute to the strategic growth of the studio in Hong Kong and the broader Southeast Asian market.

Required profile

• Proven track record of winning and delivering architectural projects in Southeast Asia.
• Experience operating at Principal level, including studio leadership and team development.
• Strong conceptual design approach with a portfolio of built work.
• Excellent client‑facing and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated impact on both design quality and business growth.
