Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will support sourcing and purchasing activities for both Hong Kong and Taiwan markets, reporting directly to the Procurement Manager based in Taiwan. This role bridges internal business needs with supplier capabilities to ensure cost‑effective and compliant procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with short‑term and long‑term business objectives.
• Manage end‑to‑end sourcing processes, including supplier identification, RFQ/RFP issuance, evaluation, negotiation, and contract execution.
• Conduct market research, supplier benchmarking, and cost analysis to inform sourcing decisions.
• Oversee contract lifecycle management, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance requirements.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, perform regular performance reviews, and mitigate supplier risks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, QA, Legal) to align procurement activities with broader business goals.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency across both markets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply management, with a track record of managing projects from supplier selection to contract execution.
• Experience in both direct and indirect procurement is preferred.
• Fluent spoken Cantonese, English, and Mandarin; proficient written Chinese and English.
• Familiarity with procurement and ERP systems is an advantage.
