Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will lead and manage procurement requests and projects for CAPEX, production, and technical supplies across IT and non‑IT categories. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the role supports HAECO Hong Kong and other group companies in delivering high‑quality MRO services.

Key responsibilities

• Act as project manager and subject‑matter expert for assigned categories, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct cost‑saving studies and provide recommendations for contract development.
• Manage vendor selection, proposal evaluation, and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
• Oversee contract execution, resolve issues, mitigate delays, and handle disputes.
• Monitor vendor performance, give constructive feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead tender exercises, market research, benchmarking, and supply‑base analysis at local and regional levels.
• Develop and execute mid‑term to long‑term procurement strategies.

• Strong analytical skills for cost‑saving analysis and supplier performance review.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑influence capabilities.
• Experience managing contracts with significant financial impact.
