Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will support ICBC (Asia)’s procurement function by managing end‑to‑end purchasing projects, ensuring compliance with internal policies and facilitating effective vendor negotiations. The role is based in Hong Kong and works closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Track and advance procurement projects from initiation to completion.
• Review project documentation and prepare materials for internal deliberations.
• Draft deliberation reports summarising project progress and negotiation outcomes.
• Organise and support internal meetings, including preparation of agendas and minutes.
• Cross‑check project files and manage the approval workflow.
• Collaborate with audit teams to ensure procurement activities meet regulatory standards.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks as required by the department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, administration or a related field.
• Relevant experience in procurement, vendor management or supply‑chain functions; experience in a financial environment is a plus.
• Strong communication, influencing and analytical abilities.
• Team‑oriented yet capable of working independently.
• Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
