About the role
The Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University seeks a full‑time Professor to lead teaching and research in Supply Chain and Operations Management. The successful candidate will join a vibrant faculty dedicated to advancing logistics excellence and supporting Hong Kong’s ambition to become an international logistics hub.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Supply Chain and Operations Management.
- Supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct high‑quality research, publish in reputable journals, and develop the department’s research profile.
- Lead and participate in scholarly research initiatives, including external grant applications and applied research projects.
- Engage with industry partners through consultancy, collaborative projects, and knowledge transfer activities.
