Project & HSSE Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project & HSSE Manager to lead facilities improvement and capital projects across a portfolio of retail and commercial sites in Hong Kong and Macau. The role combines project delivery with health, safety, security and environment leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects from planning through execution to close‑out, ensuring KPIs, schedules, budgets and quality requirements are met.
• Coordinate with commercial, procurement, finance, operations and delivery teams to achieve successful outcomes.
• Oversee service providers and subcontractors, conduct regular site visits, and monitor progress, quality, safety performance and contractor compliance.
• Administer permit‑to‑work processes and support safe execution of field activities.
• Lead implementation of HSSE policies, programs and annual improvement plans, delivering inductions, training, audits, inspections and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Safety Management or a related discipline.
• 5‑10 years of experience in project management, facilities, construction or maintenance.
• Strong understanding of HSSE management systems, permit‑to‑work processes and contractor safety management.
• Proven experience managing contractors, subcontractors and multi‑site projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management, coordination and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Hong Kong and Macau.
