Project Manager – Power Station E&M Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking an energetic and innovative engineering professional to lead a multi‑disciplinary team responsible for the design, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical and mechanical (E&M) systems at our CLPP power stations in Tuen Mun and Penny’s Bay.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a multi‑discipline team handling design, installations, testing, commissioning and ongoing maintenance of E&M systems.
• Coordinate with civil/E&M contractors, client representatives and other stakeholders.
• Manage project documentation including design submissions, method statements, risk‑management plans, resource plans, tender proposals, procurement documents and safety & health plans.
• Plan and control project activities to meet schedule, budget, outage windows and quality standards.
• Supervise site work to ensure compliance with contract specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular project status updates and market insights to senior management.
• Assist in business strategy development, budgeting and cost control.
• Ensure implementation of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality systems.
• Motivate sub‑ordinates, frontline workforce and contractors to achieve optimal performance.
• Perform night and holiday work when required.

Required profile

• Recognised university degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in E&M systems maintenance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven project experience with high‑voltage, low‑voltage, generator, black‑start diesel generator, seal‑oil, seawater and fresh‑water cooling systems.
• Strong commercial, financial and risk‑management capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and customer‑oriented.
• Possession of a Construction Industry Safety Card, CWRA and a valid driving licence (preferred).
