Project Officer (Part-time)

About the role

The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation is seeking a part‑time Project Officer to support the JCECC “Life Rainbow” End‑of‑Life Community Care Project. The role involves coordinating psychosocial‑spiritual activities, practical support services, and administrative reporting to improve the quality of life for persons with late‑stage chronic illness and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Assist social workers with psychosocial‑spiritual care activities such as wish fulfilment, legacy projects, and family outings.
• Provide practical support including escort services, patient‑sitting, equipment loans, home‑making services, and occasional personal care.
• Coordinate evaluations and input data for project monitoring.
• Prepare administrative and budget reports for the project.
• Organise public education events and develop resource materials.
• Perform other ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree holder or above.
• At least one year of experience in administrative support and coordination.
• Experience working with frail elderly or similar target groups.
• Knowledge of chronic disease management, vocational rehabilitation, mutual support, volunteer services, and e‑service delivery.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and time‑management abilities.
• Self‑initiated, mature, and innovative mindset.
• Effective team player in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Proficient in both Chinese and English.
