Public Relations Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Support the hotel’s public relations activities, strengthen brand awareness and maintain a positive public image. Build effective relationships with media, influencers, business partners, VIP guests and internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain good relationships with media, influencers, business partners and other key contacts.
• Write press releases, media materials, speeches, newsletters and other promotional content.
• Promote the hotel’s rooms, restaurants, events, facilities and special offers through suitable publicity channels.
• Handle VIP guests, media representatives and key stakeholders professionally, including coordinating itineraries, hospitality arrangements and special requests.
• Respond to media enquiries and coordinate interviews, photography and filming requests.
• Monitor media coverage and online comments, and prepare regular publicity reports.
• Support crisis communication and protect the hotel’s reputation when issues arise.
• Work closely with hotel departments and external agencies to ensure consistent and timely communication.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Degree holder in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Hospitality Management or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in public relations or marketing communications, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
• Proven experience handling VIP guests and arranging hotel, media or promotional events.
• Strong media relations, writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Familiar with social media and digital communication platforms.
