Purchasing Assistant – Hotel Supplies

About the role

The Regent Hong Kong is looking for a Purchasing Assistant to support the procurement of hotel supplies and equipment, ensuring all purchases comply with the hotel’s policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Procure hotel supplies and equipment in line with purchasing policies.
• Obtain specifications, quotations and related information for required items.
• Handle correspondence and negotiations with suppliers.
• Meet with suppliers, stay updated on new products and pricing.
• Follow up on any quality discrepancies with vendors.
• Maintain organized records of quotations, purchase orders, catalogues and reference data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in purchasing, supply chain management, logistics or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of purchasing experience (fresh graduates are also welcome).
• Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Purchasing Assistant role.

Required skills

• Experience with an SCM (Supply Chain Management) system (advantageous).
