Purchasing Officer / Manager

About the role

Genesis Development Limited is seeking a proactive Purchasing Officer / Manager to lead efficient procurement activities for its building‑material projects. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of quality goods.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procurement processes following standard operating procedures.
• Evaluate and monitor supplier performance to meet quality, safety and schedule requirements.
• Prepare purchase orders, request quotations and follow up on their status.
• Track order progress and coordinate delivery timelines.
• Maintain and update the purchasing database and cost‑sheet.
• Identify issues, propose solutions and see them through to resolution.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher in Materials, Purchasing Management or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience; experience in building‑material procurement is preferred.
• Proficiency with PC applications, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
