Quality Manager - Helmets & Goggles

About the role

Alpinestars is seeking a Quality Manager for its Helmets & Goggles portfolio. You will lead supplier quality performance across Asia, ensuring product integrity from development through mass production while collaborating with R&D, Sourcing and Production Planning.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement category‑wide quality strategies, set objectives and performance indicators, and align them with Corporate Quality.
• Partner with R&D to support new product development, validate materials, assess risks and conduct preliminary audits of new suppliers.
• Monitor material quality, conduct supplier audits, drive continuous improvement and corrective actions, and report to Corporate Quality.
• Perform regular factory visits in Asia to evaluate production processes, enforce quality systems and ensure compliance with Alpinestars standards.
• Maintain communication channels with Corporate Quality, R&D and Sourcing, providing structured updates on quality status and risks.

Required profile

• 5–8+ years of quality management experience in motorcycle helmets, visors or protective headgear.
• Strong supplier management experience in Asia and willingness to travel regularly.
• Business‑fluent English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Deep technical knowledge of helmet shell and EPS technologies, visor materials and coatings, retention systems and ventilation components.
• Familiarity with homologation requirements and certification standards (ECE, DOT, SNELL, JIS, CCC, CE, FIM, ANSI, ISO).
• Proven expertise in risk assessment, material validation and production quality monitoring.
