Rebar Processing Plant Factory Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Rebar Processing Plant Factory Manager to lead the construction, commissioning, and daily operation of a high‑capacity rebar processing facility. The role combines plant layout design, production management, safety oversight, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced construction environment.

Key responsibilities

• Select equipment, design plant layout, supervise construction and manage technical interfaces during the build phase.
• Take full responsibility for daily operations, production planning, safety control and cost management.
• Inspect workshop performance, develop production plans and drive capacity growth through efficiency gains.
• Control labor, material and manufacturing costs to reduce unit production cost.
• Manage construction personnel, machinery, shift handovers, energy saving and safety of staff and equipment.
• Enhance factory standardisation, product quality control and overall equipment, 6S and safety management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years overall experience, with at least 5 years in rebar/metal processing and 3+ years in management roles.
• Proven leadership in plants of 100,000 tons annual capacity or larger.
• Fluent in Chinese and English (Cantonese preferred).
• Familiarity with Hong Kong Building Ordinance, EP, OSH regulations and ISO 9001/14001.
• Experience with BIM, digital twin, AutoCAD, Revit and integration of WMS/ERP/MES systems.
• Professional qualifications such as HKIE Member, CIC Registered Professional, OSHA training and internal auditor certifications are a plus.
