About the role
The Receptionist will provide professional front‑desk and administrative support for a banking office. As the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and internal stakeholders, the role is responsible for delivering a welcoming, efficient, and high‑quality service experience while ensuring the smooth daily operation of the reception area.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and register clients and visitors professionally, manage access procedures, and direct them to the appropriate meeting rooms or contacts.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries promptly and courteously, ensuring messages and requests are relayed accurately.
- Manage meeting room bookings, room setup, and equipment arrangements; coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure meetings run smoothly.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and professional reception and front‑of‑house area at all times.
- Handle incoming and outgoing courier items, mail, and deliveries, ensuring proper logging, distribution, and follow‑up.
- Provide general administrative support, including ordering pantry and office supplies, maintaining records, processing invoices or payments, arranging office repairs, and updating key registers.
- Coordinate refreshments, light meals, and tea services for client visits and internal meetings.
- Support ad‑hoc administrative tasks and projects assigned by the team, including clerical support for relevant business units.
Required profile
- Tertiary education or above.
- At least 2 years of receptionist, front‑of‑house, customer service, or administrative support experience, preferably within banking, financial services, or a multinational corporation.
- Professional appearance and telephone manner, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Well‑organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently.
- A customer‑focused mindset, positive attitude, and strong team spirit.
- Familiarity with general office administration, courier handling, meeting coordination, and office‑supply management.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
