Receptionist

About the role

The Airport Authority Hong Kong is seeking a professional Receptionist to manage front‑desk operations at Hong Kong International Airport. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, callers, and staff, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience in a high‑traffic aviation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional reception services, greet guests, answer phone calls and handle public enquiries.
• Arrange IDD and teleconference calls for all staff.
• Liaise with the facilities management contractor on visitor registration and card issuance.
• Monitor and oversee the contractor’s performance at the reception area.
• Maintain telephone directory database and console information.
• Supervise lobby and reception counter operations during corporate events at HKIA Tower.
• Support daily office administration, including receiving supplies and coordinating courier deliveries.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the reception counter and lobby.
• Prepare monthly statistics reports on reception services.
• Perform any ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma graduate or secondary graduate and above.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing a reception counter in a sizable organization.
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional telephone manner and service‑oriented attitude.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, well‑organized, confident and detail‑oriented.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; Putonghua preferred.

Required skills
