Regional Financial Controller – Finance Operations & Business Partnering

About the role

Lead financial reporting, month‑end closing and financial control across the region for a boutique firm with a 15‑year presence in Asia and Europe. The position blends strategic finance management with hands‑on operations and business partnering.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional financial reporting, month‑end close and control activities.
• Prepare board reports, management packs and financial analysis for senior stakeholders.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow reporting and performance monitoring.
• Oversee audit, tax, regulatory and statutory compliance across multiple markets.
• Maintain and enhance finance systems, reporting tools and data‑governance processes.
• Drive process improvements to increase reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Support treasury and cross‑border financing, including funding, capital allocation and cash management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with CPA qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of accounting and finance experience covering operations, reporting, process improvement and business partnering.
• Experience in a lean, regional or entrepreneurial environment is advantageous.
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
