Regional Security Engineer

About the role

The Regional Security Engineer is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Hong Kong SAR. You will design, implement and maintain security solutions for Securitas across the region, ensuring that network, application and information security controls meet both company and local regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assess security requirements and design appropriate security architectures.
• Configure, monitor and manage security technologies, including threat detection and response tools.
• Respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities promptly.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to verify the effectiveness of security controls.
• Conduct risk assessments and review security architectures for continuous improvement.
• Prepare technical documentation, support audit activities and contribute to improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong background in network security, cybersecurity and application security.
• Experience designing security architectures and implementing security policies.
• Knowledge of industry frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST and CIS controls, and familiarity with Hong Kong regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCSP) are advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and work with cross‑functional teams.
