Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Lab

About the role

Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Cardiovascular Laboratory. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures, ensuring safety and supporting the multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and plan the care of individual patients in the cardiovascular lab.
• Support the smooth running of clinical services and ensure safe patient care.
• Provide attentive care at ward level, especially for critically ill patients.
• Implement safety practices to maintain a safe clinical environment.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation in medical records.
• Supervise junior nursing personnel to ensure quality nursing care.
• Educate patients and their relatives about health care and post‑procedure care.
• Follow hospital infection‑control policies and occupational safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with doctors, patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Valid and current nursing practising certificate in Hong Kong.
• Relevant experience working in a Cardiovascular Lab.
• BLS certification with bi‑yearly recertification.
• ACLS certification required for critical‑care areas.
• Strong clinical and technical competency.
• Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures and current nursing trends.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Required skills
