Registered Nurse – Day Ward

About the role

Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join its Day Ward team. You will provide comprehensive patient care, support clinical operations, and ensure safety for critically ill patients in a fast‑paced, multi‑specialty environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and plan individual patient care throughout the day shift.
• Support smooth operation of clinical services and maintain safe patient care standards.
• Provide direct care to critically ill patients and implement safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical documentation.
• Supervise junior nursing staff to ensure quality nursing care.
• Deliver health education to patients and their families.
• Follow hospital policies, infection‑control measures, and occupational safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and relatives.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Preferably a Degree in Nursing.
• Valid and current nursing practising certificate in Hong Kong.
• Bi‑annual BLS recertification and ACLS certification for critical care areas.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• Clinical and technical competency in nursing practice.
• Knowledge of hospital policies, infection control, and occupational safety.
