Registered Nurse – Day Ward

About the role

Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong is seeking a Registered Nurse to work on the Day Ward, providing high‑quality care to patients, including critically ill individuals, in a fast‑paced, multi‑specialty environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and plan individual patient care, ensuring safe and effective treatment throughout the day shift.
• Support smooth operation of clinical services and maintain high standards of patient safety, especially for critically ill patients.
• Provide comprehensive patient care, accurate documentation, and supervise junior nursing staff.
• Deliver health‑care education to patients and relatives and maintain clear communication with doctors, patients and families.
• Implement infection‑control measures and adhere to occupational safety and health guidelines.

Required profile

• Preferably a Degree in Nursing with a valid Hong Kong nursing practising certificate.
• Current BLS certification (bi‑annual) and ACLS certification for critical care areas.
• Strong clinical and technical competency, knowledge of hospital policies and current nursing practice trends.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese, with good customer service and interpersonal skills.
