Registered Nurse – Operating Theatre

About the role

Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the Operating Theatre. The role involves delivering safe, high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced surgical environment while supporting the overall clinical service.

Key responsibilities

• Support the smooth running of clinical services and ensure patient safety.
• Provide comprehensive patient care, especially for critically ill patients on the ward.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Educate patients and their families about health care procedures.
• Implement infection‑control measures in line with hospital policy and international standards.
• Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and relatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Valid and current nursing practising certificate in Hong Kong.
• Strong clinical and technical competency.
• Good knowledge of hospital policies, procedures and current nursing trends.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.

Required skills

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
