Research Analyst – Equities (Healthcare)

About the role

Invesco is seeking a senior Research Analyst to cover healthcare equities in Hong Kong and China. The role blends fundamental equity research with AI‑enabled data extraction, analytics and alternative data to generate actionable investment insights.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental research on companies using financial, operational, management and alternative data, applying AI‑assisted extraction and anomaly detection.
• Develop and maintain financial and valuation models, monitor portfolios and risk, and provide timely market updates to Investment Directors and Fund Managers.
• Identify macro, industry and company trends, build scenarios, assess earnings, valuations, catalysts and risks, and challenge consensus with AI‑driven analysis.
• Engage with company management through meetings, industry events and site visits, preparing AI‑enhanced questions and follow‑ups.
• Present concise, evidence‑based views at weekly team and quarterly investment meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of buy‑side or sell‑side equity research experience.
• Deep knowledge of Hong Kong and China equity markets; healthcare sector exposure preferred.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin with strong communication skills.
• CFA qualification and a university degree in economics, finance, data science or related field.
