Research Assistant – Behavioural Interventions for Vaccination

About the role

The School of Arts and Social Sciences seeks a full‑time Research Assistant I to support a project on behavioural interventions that help parents decide on children’s influenza vaccination. You will work closely with Principal Investigator Dr. Julie Liao, contributing to all phases of the study.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive literature searches and systematic reviews.
• Design, pilot‑test, and refine study instruments.
• Coordinate part‑time helpers and manage data‑collection logistics.
• Clean, organise, and analyse the research dataset.
• Assist in drafting research reports, academic papers, and presentation materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Sciences, Nursing, or a related health discipline.
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese communication skills.
• Demonstrated responsibility, hard‑working attitude, and good interpersonal skills.
• Experience with surveys and behavioural interventions.
• Competence in quantitative data analysis and solid computer proficiency.
