Retail Learning and Engagement Manager, North Asia

About the role

The Retail Learning and Engagement Manager will lead North Asian markets in elevating boutique teams through tailored knowledge, skills and behaviours. You will champion Chanel’s creative vision and client relational promise by designing and delivering learning experiences that inspire passion for fashion and service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify learning needs and co‑create curricula with local markets to enhance frontline performance.
• Orchestrate global engagement campaigns, adapting brand messages for local execution.
• Partner with local L&D managers on learning design, rollout and coaching initiatives on the boutique floor.
• Foster a North Asia community of best‑practice sharing and embody “Lead Beyond” values.
• Collaborate with fashion métiers (style, client, merchandising, visual) to enrich learning journeys.
• Consolidate tools and processes to measure training effectiveness and implement improvements.
• Test new learning technologies, influence platform enhancements and drive digital adoption.
• Promote upskilling and inspiration across markets through local and global initiatives.

Required profile

• Passion for fashion and retail with a client‑centric mindset.
• Extensive experience in retail learning, group animation and training delivery, preferably in luxury or fashion.
• Exceptional public speaking, storytelling and interpersonal abilities.
• Innovative, adaptable and comfortable working in a matrix organisation.
• Commitment to modern learning methodologies and continuous improvement.
