Room Service Captain

About the role

Join the prestigious Mandarin Oriental The Landmark in Hong Kong as a Room Service Captain. You will lead the daily operations of the in‑room dining team, ensuring guests receive flawless food and beverage service directly to their rooms.

Key responsibilities

• Set up trays and trolleys according to hotel standards before each service.
• Deliver food, beverages and amenities to guest rooms promptly and with attention to detail.
• Check product quality, gather guest feedback and address any concerns in collaboration with the In‑Room Dining Manager.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by responding quickly to guest needs throughout the dining experience.
• Perform additional duties as directed by the department head, including occasional training of new team members.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in food & beverage or hotel operations; room‑service experience is a plus.
• Strong time‑management skills, service‑oriented mindset and ability to work independently.
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Cantonese and English; Mandarin is an advantage.

Required skills

• Fluent Cantonese and English communication.
• Mandarin language skills considered a plus.
