Sales & Service Lead

About the role

The Sales & Service Lead is essential to elevating the guest experience at ALO. You will drive engagement, education and interaction on the sales floor, creating a sanctuary that differentiates ALO from other retailers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead an exceptional guest experience on the floor through assessing connection levels, providing product education and coaching team members.
• Build daily client relationships and analyse reports to strategise results, implementing action plans for growth.
• Ensure effective sales‑floor coverage by developing workforce solutions and leading selling initiatives.
• Partner with Operations & Visual Manager on reporting, budgets, inventory, vendor relationships and facilities.
• Demonstrate business acumen by leveraging metrics to support business‑driving strategies.
• Oversee Sales & Service Associates and Cashiers, handling recruitment, development and performance evaluation.
• Collaborate with Community & Studio, Operations and Visual Leads for cross‑functional training and execution of company directives.

Required profile

• 2+ years prior experience in a client‑centric sales environment.
• Proven leadership capabilities with strong decision‑making.
• High energy, upbeat attitude and ability to integrate fun with work.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Alignment with ALO’s Guiding Principles.

Required skills

• Ability to perform manual handling tasks (lifting, carrying, pushing or moving items up to 10‑15 kg) safely.
• Physical ability to bend, reach, kneel, climb ladders and stand for extended periods during a shift.
