Security Supervisor – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Mandarin Oriental The Landmark in Hong Kong is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead its security team. Reporting to the Security Manager, you will ensure the safety of guests, staff and property while upholding the hotel’s high standards of service and integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily security operations across three shifts, supervising a team of Security Officers.
• Provide coaching, guidance and performance feedback to junior staff.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest‑room security features such as safes, latches, peepholes and emergency buttons.
• Monitor guard‑tour compliance and ensure thorough hand‑overs between shift supervisors.
• Protect confidential information relating to guests, the hotel and the company.
• Maintain a clean and energy‑efficient security control room and support environmental‑care initiatives.
• Facilitate clear communication of intelligence and incidents throughout the department.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in security operations, preferably within a luxury hotel or similar hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to act as a role model for the team.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other hotel departments.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hotel security systems and procedures.
• Experience conducting security inspections and audits.
• Proficiency in writing clear shift hand‑over reports.
