Senior Account Manager

About the role

Marsh is seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead and grow relationships with key clients across its insurance and risk portfolio. You will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring client needs are met while identifying new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, manage and implement business plans to achieve client‑specific goals.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with key decision makers, monitoring organisational changes to protect the partnership.
• Proactively manage account service delivery, ensuring standards are met and client expectations are exceeded.
• Identify revenue‑generation opportunities and drive growth within the existing portfolio.
• Implement account retention and defense strategies to safeguard business.
• Assist claims teams in negotiating equitable settlements on complex claims.
• Build and nurture relationships with insurers to better serve client needs.
• Stay current on all major insurance classes and product developments to advise clients effectively.

Required profile

• Proactive approach to account management and service delivery.
• Strong ability to build and preserve relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of insurance products and claim processes.
• Demonstrated track record of identifying and capitalising on business growth opportunities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
