Senior Applications Specialist

About the role

Roche Diagnostics Hong Kong is seeking a proactive Applications Specialist to provide field support, consulting, and training to customers, ensuring high service quality and successful product adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site applications and troubleshooting support for diagnostics products, including system validation, data reporting, and hyper‑care activities.
• Maintain regular communication of application updates via internal channels and ensure compliance with RDHK guidelines.
• Assist the Applications team with daily operations, KPI achievement, and project participation.
• Mentor junior staff, providing onboarding guidance, technical training, and case reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Science, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, Biology or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Approximately 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, application support, or clinical laboratory environments.
• Familiarity with clinical laboratory workflows, molecular and tissue diagnostics, and next‑generation sequencing concepts.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Experience with AI‑enabled tools and quick adaptability to new technologies.
• Knowledge of molecular diagnosis, tissue diagnosis, next‑generation sequencing, chemistry and immunology tests.
• Understanding of clinical analyzers and laboratory instrument operation.
