Senior Associate – Research & Analysis (Hong Kong)

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Senior Associate to lead the Research & Analysis function for its Institutional Banking clients in Hong Kong. You will be responsible for assessing credit risk, developing mitigation strategies and supporting revenue growth across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare high‑quality credit papers, evaluate risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Monitor portfolio credit quality, conduct risk‑grade reviews and manage deteriorating credits.
• Attend client and internal meetings with Relationship Managers to understand business models and industry dynamics.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Relationship, Risk and Product teams and coordinate with global ANZ networks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in credit and risk analysis for Institutional or Large Corporate Banking clients.
• Strong knowledge of banking products and loan structures, including trade finance and global markets.
• Strategic and commercially minded with the ability to balance risk and reward.
• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Accounting, Economics or a related field preferred.
