Senior Associate, Supply Chain Planning

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Associate to lead demand signal generation and forecasting activities within its supply chain function. You will create and publish consensus demand plans, monitor forecast performance, and analyse root‑cause drivers of forecast error to support global eye‑health operations.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and publish consensus demand plans using statistical segmentation forecasts and commercial inputs.
• Track forecast accuracy, bias and volatility, and implement improvements.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of forecast errors related to promotions, seasonality, product lifecycle and other commercial events.
• Define baseline forecasting methodology, document assumptions and quantify commercial inputs.
• Collaborate with Commercial, S&OP, supply planners and analytics teams to align assumptions, scenarios and KPI definitions.
• Escalate material demand shifts that create supply gaps or fall outside agreed thresholds.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning or a related planning function.
