Senior Assurance Associate – Hong Kong

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Assurance team in Hong Kong. You will work with clients and colleagues to deliver high‑quality audit services and business advice while maintaining professional skepticism.

Key responsibilities

• Support and lead the planning, execution and delivery of assurance engagements.
• Perform risk assessments, understand client business processes and internal controls.
• Coach junior team members on control testing and substantive audit work.
• Discuss testing results with managers and recommend control improvements.
• Evaluate accounting policies and test financial‑statement disclosures for regulatory compliance.
• Utilize PwC’s technological tools and audit analytics to enhance risk assessment and testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; HKICPA qualification desirable.
• 3‑5 years of audit experience, preferably in a Big 4 firm.
• Strong initiative, teamwork ability and mature professional judgment.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua/Cantonese).
• Willingness to travel as needed.
