Senior Business Development Consultant

About the role

SHOPLINE is seeking a Senior Business Development Consultant to drive growth across multiple industries. You will be responsible for converting prospects into active users of our smart commerce platform and expanding our market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Engage potential customers from diverse sectors and convert them into SHOPLINE users.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, focusing on acquiring and converting new prospects.
• Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and closing deals.
• Maintain and report business development pipelines and progress to management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth merchant onboarding experience.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field with a proven track record of meeting targets.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, capable of closing deals independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Quick learner with an open mindset and eagerness to grow.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and execute effectively.
• Creative thinker who can propose innovative solutions.
