Senior Commercial Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to provide strategic leadership and oversee commercial and quantity surveying activities across medium to large construction projects. The role involves driving cost control, contract administration and stakeholder engagement to ensure project profitability and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for commercial management and quantity surveying.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, financial forecasts and cost control reporting.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, contractors and suppliers, mitigating commercial risks.
• Lead the preparation, review and sign‑off of contracts, ensuring alignment with local market standards.
• Head the quantity surveying team in producing cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender documents, and conduct value engineering.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and industry partners, presenting updates to senior management.
• Mentor and develop commercial and quantity surveying teams, fostering continuous improvement.
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and implement quality assurance processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Real Estate.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience managing medium to large construction projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong negotiation skills and relationship‑building capability.
• Detail‑oriented with solid organisational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
