Senior Compliance Operations Associate

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Senior Compliance Operations Associate to join our growing Compliance Operations team and play a vital role in executing day‑to‑day operations and risk management functions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily Business As Usual (BAU) operational tasks, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive operational reports to support management’s decision‑making, audit readiness, and record‑keeping.
• Partner closely with cross‑functional teams (including Client Support, Product, and IT) to streamline operational workflows and enhance process efficiency.
• Quickly learn, adapt to, and optimise internal compliance platforms, software tools, and data systems.
• Proactively develop and manage ongoing banking relationships.
• Conduct in‑depth account reviews, identifying outliers in transaction flows, day‑to‑day activity and changes in corporate structures.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent higher education qualification.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in operational compliance or AML‑focused roles within payment services, the MSB/MSO industry, or the banking sector.
• CAMS (Certified Anti‑Money Laundering Specialist) or equivalent professional accreditation is highly desirable.
• High proficiency with emerging technological solutions, compliance tooling, and data analysis systems.
• Strong technical knowledge and sensitivity regarding risk and regulatory compliance matters in the cross‑border payments industry.
• Demonstrates commercial acumen and sound decision‑making abilities.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in an Asian language is advantageous.
• Proactive team player able to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment alongside a diverse international team.
