Senior Construction Manager – Large‑Scale Residential Projects

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced construction leader to oversee large‑scale residential projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will bring strong construction management expertise, proven leadership capability, and a solid track record delivering major projects on time, within budget, and in full compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement construction management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure successful project execution.
• Oversee all phases of construction, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing construction team.
• Analyze financial reports and make recommendations for cost control and optimisation.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project timelines and budgets.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project status, milestones, and challenges to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building or related fields.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction management, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role.
• Relevant professional certifications such as HKIE, RICS, HKIS, HKICM, CIOB are highly desirable.
• Proven experience in foundation works or full‑cycle construction/project management for residential developments.
• Strong understanding of building ordinances, codes of practice, safety regulations, and industry standards.
