Senior Consultant – Transfer Pricing – Tax & Business Advisory

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Tax & Business Advisory team in Hong Kong, focusing on Transfer Pricing. You will work with a leading Big Four firm to provide high‑quality tax advice and support client business strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide initial recommendations on current tax legislation to manager‑level practitioners across the Global Tax and Business Advisory function.
• Conduct economic analyses using accounting principles, financial and transactional data, and industry‑specific sources.
• Prepare client questionnaires, industry analyses, and data requests, ensuring accurate and comprehensive information collection.
• Select appropriate data‑collection and analysis methods and develop informed recommendations that align with client strategies.
• Apply Transfer Pricing technology and identify complex TP issues, referring them to relevant tax teams when necessary.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of key capabilities required to deliver a high‑quality client service experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 2‑4 years of Transfer Pricing experience.
• Professional qualification preferred (e.g., HKICPA, CICPA, ACCA, AICPA, CTA).
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and transfer pricing laws/rules.
• Excellent business writing skills in English and Chinese, with fluent spoken English and Mandarin.
• Good communication skills and ability to manage multiple engagements independently under time pressure.
• Cantonese or Japanese language skills are a plus.
