Senior DevOps Engineer (Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a leading Hong Kong‑based company. The role focuses on managing the Kubernetes/OpenShift platform, improving CI/CD pipelines and ensuring reliable, secure production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee deployment and management of Kubernetes containers, primarily on OpenShift.
• Design, build and optimise CI/CD pipelines supporting canary, blue‑green and emergency roll‑back deployments.
• Implement GitOps workflows using tools such as ArgoCD for automated application delivery.
• Set up monitoring and alerting with Prometheus and the ELK stack to maintain system reliability.
• Maintain platform security through patching, vulnerability management and lead incident RCA.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer or DevOps role.
• Strong understanding of security best practices; ISO 27001 knowledge a plus.

Required skills

• OpenShift, Kubernetes, NGINX, Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD, Terraform.
• Scripting with Bash and Python.
• Fundamental networking concepts.
