Senior Duty Engineer – Hotel Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Duty Engineer to lead the maintenance and operation of hotel plant and equipment at Dorsett Kai Tak, a 373‑room flagship hotel in Hong Kong. The role ensures safety, reliability and guest satisfaction by overseeing all technical facilities and responding swiftly to service requests and emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair hotel fixtures, mechanical, electrical and building services equipment to guarantee smooth operation.
• Coordinate with external contractors and internal departments to optimise operational efficiency.
• Manage work requests, carry out preventive maintenance and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements for all plant and facilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years as a Duty Engineer.
• Certificate or diploma in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and effective communication skills.
